Mapsly is a standalone software platform that is visually embedded into your Zoho CRM through a Zoho marketplace extension that:

  1. adds a web tab with an iframe that loads the Mapsly platform;

  2. automatically logs in your Zoho users to Mapsly using their Zoho credentials.

Follow the steps below to get started with Mapsly in Zoho CRM. Please note that you need to be a Zoho CRM administrator to complete this guide.

1. Install Mapsly extension

Note: if you are on the Zoho CRM Free Edition, you can open https://app.mapsly.com/signup and sign up with your Zoho CRM account, without the need to install the extension.

2. Open Mapsly

Open the Mapsly tab in the Modules menu - here's how you can pin it to the top:

Note. If the Mapsly tab is not showing up in the Modules menu right after installing the extension, please wait up to 5 minutes, then reload the browser tab.

During initial login, choose your Production Organization and confirm the required OAuth scopes:

IMPORTANT! Some browsers might block this pop-up - in this case, you'll see a brief red error message and an instruction to

  • click the blocked pop-up button in the browser address bar (in different browsers, this button might look slightly different):

  • select the "Always allow" option to allow Mapsly to open the login pop-up:

  • and then re-open the Mapsly tab (or refresh the browser tab).

3. Complete the sign-up

If you need to link an existing Mapsly account to this Zoho CRM

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not connect your sandbox Zoho CRM instance to Mapsly - Mapsly will only work with production Zoho CRM environments.

If you don't have a Mapsly account yet:

  • Follow the sign-up wizard guide instructions. Return here for the final steps

After filling in the initial pages (Account information, Choose features) as in the guide, proceed to step 3 and connect your Zoho

In the following pop-up, log in again. Proceed to the final steps described in Data Source Mappings.

Useful articles

If you'd like to see on the map only standard objects like leads, accounts, or contacts, the wizard's instructions are self-explanatory. In more complex scenarios, when you'd like to see other objects in Mapsly as well or use coordinates instead of an object's address, please refer to these articles:
