A Code statement is a line of code that can be inserted into a sequence of actions to do something that cannot be achieved via adding a standard actions. A Code statement can contain a call to a function, like Set() or Do(), or a sequence of calls joined by and, for example: Do(...) and Do(...)

Code statement is normally used in complex scenarios that require storing intermediate results of previous actions in the Execution Context and using them in further actions down the execution flow.

Typical use cases for Code statement include:

  • Declaring and setting a value for an Execution Context variable expected by an action down the execution flow (especially useful when reusing actions in various scenarios).

  • Executing Create record actions to create related records.

  • Executing nested actions with custom input.
