Mapsly is a standalone software platform that exchanges data with your HubSpot through its API and allows you to automatically log your HubSpot users into Mapsly with their HubSpot user credentials.
Follow the steps below to set up your Mapsly account with HubSpot. Please note that you need to be the HubSpot administrator to complete this guide.
1. Install Mapsly extension
Install the Mapsly extension from the HubSpot marketplace by this link. When prompted on the screen, choose your HubSpot account and click the Connect app button:
IMPORTANT! In order to install Mapsly extension you need to enable 'Edit property settings' permission for each user that will be installing Mapsly. You can access this permission by going to permissions > CRM > CRM tools > Edit property settings
2. Follow Mapsly account sign-up wizard
Press the Create new Mapsly account button
and follow instructions on the screen.
IMPORTANT! If you'd like to import HubSpot's Quote object to Mapsly, follow the instructions in this article while you are in the Mapsly sign-up wizard. If you don't want to import Quotes, you may leave the optional API key on step #3 empty.
How to log into Mapsly
To log into Mapsly (on both desktop and mobile):
go to Mapsly login page at app.mapsly.com,
click the HubSpot logo:
in the pop-up that will open select your HubSpot account and enter your HubSpot credentials, and you'll be logged into your Mapsly user account.
Known limitations of HubSpot-Mapsly connector
Deal-Company association is not automatically updated in Mapsly
When a Deal record is assigned to another Company, HubSpot does not update the Deal's Last modified time stamp and doesn't provide any other types of notifications about this, so in Mapsly the Deal will remain assigned to the "old" Company. To help Mapsly pick up the updated association, update the Deal record in any other way so its "last modified" time updates and Mapsly will re-import the Deal record and update its association with the new Company.
Only standard fields sync to Mapsly in real time, custom fields are imported by schedule
Due to the limitation on the total number of fields that can be synced using HubSpot webhooks, by default only standard fields of standard objects are synced from HubSpot to Mapsly using HubSpot webhooks in real time. While custom fields and custom objects are synced by schedule with the highest frequency of once per 10 minutes.
Customers on the Mapsly Enterprise plan may request particular custom fields to be synced in real time. Please contact Mapsly customer support for details.
