The Offline Mode in Mapsly allows you to continue using features like routing, creating and updating data, and performing check-ins without an internet connection. All actions performed offline are cached, and as soon as network coverage is restored, they are automatically synced with your data source.

How to Activate Offline on Your Account

You can find the Offline Mode settings under Preferences. This feature is available for Pro and Enterprise subscriptions.

Before using Offline Mode, your data needs to be cached. Additionally, you can cache maps for offline use.

Map Caching

To cache maps for offline use:

1. Click Select New Map and choose the desired area to cache.

2. You can save multiple maps, as the only limitation is the available storage space on your device.

3. To rename a saved map, click its title and update the name as needed.

Data Daching

There are several options for caching your data (e.g., “specific objects like customers or locations”):

1. Cache All Data: Cache the entire dataset at once.

2. Cache Specific Objects: Select specific objects to cache if needed.

3. Set Cache Limits: Adjust the maximum cache size to control storage usage.

Note: If you plan to use routes offline or perform offline file upload, ensure that all relevant data is cached in advance. Data caching only occurs when the app is active, and the device is unlocked.

Data Removal and Update

1. Deleting Cached Maps: To delete saved maps, click the Remove All Maps button.

2. Re-caching or Deleting Data: You can re-cache or delete specific data by using the appropriate options in the settings menu.
