Bulk import users to your Mapsly Account

Account admins can mass-import and update Mapsly users by uploading a CSV file. Follow the steps below to complete the process:

1. Prepare Your CSV File

Before importing, ensure your file is formatted correctly. It must include the following required columns:

  • Name - Any user name

  • Profile - Specify the default Mapsly profile (Standard user, Administrator, or Shared Maps). You can also create a custom profile in Mapsly beforehand and include it in your CSV file.

  • Email - The user’s email address.

  • Password - Must be at least 12 characters long

2. Import/Update Users

  1. Navigate to the Users section in the main menu:

2. Click Import/Update Users and select the document containing your users:

If your file has a global issue (e.g., an empty email field or extra column), the system will display an error message. Edit the file and upload it again.

3. Upload the File

1. Click the Upload button to review the user’s information.
2. If everything is correct, click Import to add or update users.

The users will be added if everything is correct and the file is validated.

If errors are found, the system will display error messages with hints. Click Show more to view all errors. Edit your file to correct the issues and re-upload it.

If your file contains an already active user(s), a pop-up will appear with the following options:
Skip: Leave existing users unchanged.

Update: Update the existing users with the new information.

Cancel: Abort the process.
