This article describes how to set up and create email reports, define their schedule, and message content.
How to Create a Report
Click on Settings > Alerts & Reports. You'll be taken to the Alerts interface by default. To navigate to the Reports screen, select the Reports tab and, to create a new report, select + Report.
The Add Report panel appears:
Define the Report Schedule
This section lets you designate the time for the schedule to run and its frequency. Alternatively, you can input a CRON expression directly by choosing the secondary radio button and entering it into the CRON Schedule field. Select your timezone from the dropdown menu in the Timezone field.
Define Message Content
Within the Message Content section, choose between the Dashboard or Chart option by selecting the respective radio button. Next, from the dropdown field, pick the relevant dashboard or chart. A screenshot of the chosen dashboard or chart will accompany a link.
If you're sending a chart, specify whether it will be sent as a screenshot (in PNG format) or as a CSV file. For Table and Pivot Tables, you also have the option to include the chart within the email text rather than as an attachment.
Good job, your report is ready to go! To finalize your report, select Save.
